USCe on the road

USCe hasn’t beaten anyone worthy outside of Kentucky and maybe Virginia all season...they also have 4-5 really bad losses. I really like our matchup with the Coots. Vols roll by double figures.
We only beat them by 1 at home and they’re playing better basketball now than they were then

Vescovi is MUCH better now than then. They have played an extremely weak schedule since then, makes them look better than they really are. They lost to Ole Miss by 20 or so

Gonna be a tough one.

Gotta have another 50% from the field kind of game to have a chance. We shoot 30% like we have some nights we dont have a chance. Defense will be good enough for us to have a shot. Just have to shoot the ball well.

We are too. I don’t see Bowden and Pons going 1 for 24, nor do I expect to see SV repeating his 8 turnovers. I still don’t know how we won shooting 26 % with19 turnovers. It was a stinker of a game that neither team should repeat. I like our chances.

The Ole Miss game was a clunker- Lawson who has been playing really well was shut down by Shuler. That game aside they’ve been smoking folks. And the win at Arkansas was before Joe went out. Fayetteville is also a tough place to play. I think it’s pretty obvious that overall SC has been playing much better this half of the season. Over the same time span we’ve continued to be erratic

It was a stinker because South Carolina has the best defense in SEC play

Since the last time we played S Carolina they are 7-2 and rank 2nd in the SEC in efficiency only behind Kentucky. We’re 4-5 and rank 6th

Who have we beat that compares to their wins over UK and Virginia? VCU?

We haven’t. We don’t have a great win on the resume. I’m simply stating that USCe isn’t good.
And TN is in the process of trying to play their way into being good. What's the difference?

The difference is that you guys are the most pessimistic, negative people I’ve ever encountered in my life.
Oh no, we suck. Bowden needs to go. We’re the worst UT team ever. Man JJJ is so overhyped.

“Vols win”

GO VOLS, We might make the tourney. C’mon fellas. Good shot...blah blah blah.

Support your team without CONSISTENTLY degrading them. Holy crap, stop acting like complaining, bitching 13 year old girls. It’s not like any of you could do it.

They are good defensively. But I suspect their defense efficiency is similar to ours. I would think that their efficiency is on the rise. I also think our offensive efficiency should be close to USCe and our offensive efficiency on the rise. It should be a close game just like the first. I still like our chances.

Vols have won 5 straight games against the 'cocks. What that means to me, is that Barnes owns Martin and I expect a very competitive game with UT winning. UT just needs to limit the turnovers, hold our own on the boards and hit our average or better on free throws. I know that's asking a lot, but like Arkansas, Tuesday, this is a good match-up for the Vols and Barnes
