Wow! That’s great news! I’m guessing all the recruits are seeing the progress all over the field, but also realize our win loss total is being affected majorly by poor QB play. I bet everyone sees we are an 8 win team at the minimum with an average QB. And I’m guessing the coaches are selling Bailey as that Qb to put us over the top.
Poor Qb play ? What you talking about ? We have 3 Qb’s.

when you say "local" you talking 865 local or mid-state/chat/e tn local?

I feel better about 615 kids than 865 kids. Besides more talent residing in the mid state, the big time recruits in Middle Tennessee tend to go to UT, whereas 865 kids prefer anywhere but.

Ummmm...did you even watch the 1st 6 games of the season? It was the worst qb play in the history of this University. By far. And it not even close.

And this university ha's been here a long damn time.

We found out the Last 3 weeks we have 2 and possibly 3 Qb’s which are SEC caliber. Before the Ga. game it was very much in doubt.

Yep...that's why we started Jennings at qb last night, right? JG played a hell of a game. That's all it was buddy. He has sucked for 3 years. One game doesn't change that.

Yeah but JT hasn't, throws a good ball and moves well enough to avoid pressure on those long developing routes coming off of play action, JG may be too little to late but his problems are mentality and confidence, not physical ability so he might pull it together as well, still yet to be seen and Maurer is probably better than both because the kid is just a gamer, the early year woes I think were more about trying to figure out our offensive identity and getting some cohesion between the units on D than just straight up having bad QB's, I mean would having Manning 2.0 playing back there have helped? Sure, but teams usually only have that luxury once in a blue moon

I think Maurer is gonna be a nice player. JT sure looked good last night too.
Maurer is the only one that could possibly stop Harrison Bailey from starting day one honestly, watched him play St John's earlier this year on ESPN and the kid is about as gifted as they come from a physical standpoint and Merrieta slings it around a lot so he'll have a good idea of route concepts the day he steps on campus

I hope he is as good as advertised. The truth is, with quarterbacks, you just never know til they're actually in the game.

Some qb practice great and can't play. Some can't practice but can play.
