NBA is slowly dying?

NBA is probably as strong since the Jordan days.

and still no one cares about it. So how many years has it been since Jordan? At best its an uptick but no one watches or cares. Memphis has a team and no one goes. They dont even have radio coverage in Mid Tn anymore because no one listened.

College basketball is more popular than the NBA and they dont get paid. Sad.

Except it's the most popular league for people under 21.

And college basketball is not more popular! What the hell are you talking about?

assuming football stays on top (slowly becoming an increasingly large assumption), NBA will be well ahead of MLB in popularity in a couple decades

Maybe it's just our age group. But it feels like it's not even close.

Yeah, it feels that way, as a younger fan. Love how Greve isn't interested in the NBA, so he immediately just declares that nobody has any interest in it. Quite a big ego.

Baseball is, and always will be, my "first love" when it comes to sports. Followed closely by college football.

But the NBA is growing. Still behind the NFL and NHL to me

I think the NBA is growing but it did seem to dip pretty far from its "glory days".

MLB seems to be on the decline. I have no idea how the NHL is doing but to me it seems like it's still more of an afterthought.

Anyway, I would deifnitely watch the USFL. I even get somewhat excited towards the end of June because the CFL is about to start up.

This country is fueled by football and basketball. Baseball has taken a distant 3rd.

It's regional. There are about a dozen cities by my count that have NBA franchises but no MLB franchises, or where the NBA team is clearly the bigger show in town.

I even liked the XFL; sure McMahon was an idiot at the beginning when he tried to make it WWE Lite with all the wrestler promos, the stupid skits with cheerleaders, etc., but I still say by the end of the season it was actually decent football. They cut out all the crap and concentrated on football, which is what they should have done in the first place.

The goofy rules in XFL ruined it for me. I think the USFL positioning itself as an off-season NFL D league in the perfect way to go.
