UT athletic director Phillip Fulmer reportedly hopes to hire Vols coach Tuesday

Dominoes still need to fall if we are targeting the same people as FSU and Arky. Then Potentially Oregon if Taggart goes to FSU.
I could see Taggart or Sumlin to FSU
Did Sumlin work for the AD that Arky just hired from Houston?
Would Kiffin go to Oregon?
I'm very interested in this years' coaching carousel.

Lane Kiffin will go anywhere that will have him if they're a power five school. Surprisingly there isn't a whole lot of demand for his services. Hell I don't think I've even heard of an interview for him. It's almost like people have blackballed the poor guy or something? 😂

Has Brohm even been mentioned since Fulmer took over? He's my number one, I think he'd absolutely kill it here!

He needs to. December 20th is approaching quickly. Hopefully the new coach's first call is to Cade Mays.

If what I have read is true, then Mays is not gonna be a vol. He has been credited with saying he wants to play for a national championship. Don't think that can happen here for the next 4 or 5 years. Just not enough depth or time to build it while he would be here for what? 3 years.

Where do people get this stuff?

Actually this isn't THAT crazy. Some speculated that the deal with Brohm was done BUT since his buyout dropped a million dollars as of today, perhaps we were waiting to make it official in order to save a million.

Don't think that was accurate, but I at least can see where it came from

After Jimmy jumping the gun the other day, did Brohm actually ever say no thanks, or I'm happy at Purdue at the moment? Don't recall. This actually makes sense that he agreed to the idea the other day, but could not say anything or sign the dotted line until tomorrow.

Could happen, sure. What i dont get is nearly everyone in here complains about speculation and rumors yet we have countless amounts of threads started with zero evidence to back them up.

Asked in another thread...but has Fulmer even been in contact with Brohm? He's my number one, so don't play with my emotions. Lol

Just trust him. He's a "doctor".

I know plenty of doctors. They may know medicine in a hospital, but most of them in common sense are clueless. Like going deep sea fishing with somebody who spent their whole life in Nebraska. Or tracking kodiak bears with an accountant from LA. Or getting salsa made in New York City.

IF Fulmer wants brohm he would come. He hasn't signed an extension and he wants a big time job. He wants Tennessee it's just whether we want him or not at this point.
