It doesn't make their class any less impressive, but it would make it much easier for them to have a high ranked class.

I mostly agree. USC pulls a lot of out of staters as well, though. Notre dame does too--they have too.

ND, USC, OU, AU, the reality is that you do what you have to do. Very little highschool talent is not an excuse in my book. 2nd place is just the first loser.

Its not an excuse. Its an obstacle. And, its one that UT overcomes as well as anybody. USC does pull some big out of state talent, but they still compose most of the class with California players. Notre Dame does pull a lot of out of state players because they have a national tradition.
