Bama played well but we really didn't play well offensively.

Definitely... I'm not sure if the Vols' last possession made it beyond the 50, but if so... 10 trips inside Alabama territory and 1 TD?! :wacko: :crazy:

Betting against the VOLS to cover at home usually is a good bet. Hopefully the $300 will help lessen the sting.

I got what I expected. The refs thing was just too much to pass up though. I mean seriously, I come to this board and the first thing I see is 2 pages full of "these refs stink" and "Bama must pay the refs like they pay their players" it was too perfect.

Bama played a great, tough, physical game. Hats off to them. Rivalry games are always close. But it felt really good to see us pull out the W!

Couple observations

--I was really impressed with Ainge's leadership--he really came through tonight in the clutch and lead the team to a win in the 4th quarter. Esp. after the catch that was ruled at the 1 yard line (looked like a TD to me).

--the D looked strong all game long, esp. when it mattered most.

--How long will Coker be out? Are we as dangerous with 2 RBs than with 3?

What was going on with the commentators today, first they are just lovin' on 'Bama all day, second they can't get the players' name's right, i.e. Not Verne but the other guy kept calling Wade Swain & at one point called a player on 'Bama Swain. They were lovin' on JP Wilson all day. & not any love for Tenn. I've benn saying it all year & i'll say it again.... Nobody likes Tennessee, except of course us loyal fans.
Over 100,000 strong today & all the way to the end of the 4th the stands were still full.
