It's funny because they are a border line top 25 team and we lost on the road, when these other top 25's are losing to no names (cough Michigan cough cough) and our fanbase was ready to fire our coach. I give it a 9 because I was seeing people on here that I have never seen before and sounded like they had no basketball knowledge at all. It's crazy how quick they disappear, but IMO we'll see them this weekend if we lose.
Lol I think since football has been sucking they wanted to see something good from the basketvols. So when it didnt happen and we lost, they lost their ****. I don't blame them though it feels like it's been along time since any real positive thing has happend to our university. But to be honest that loss did not warrant what happend on this board afterwords.
Didn't say destroyed but that's the way it felt to me......never really felt like we made much of a game of it
I know it doesn't matter, but it is a bit surprising to me that he has us that far down as to be out of the tourney.
Despite the fact that we've still proven nothing, most analysts (or at least the ones I follow, like Gottlieb and Davis) still seem to believe us and have us as locks. Lunar do really dropped us.
We need a big win though, cause I'm really not sure Lunardi was wrong to do so. Haha
We cut it to 1 point at least twice, and lost by 4. I think we made a game of it. We shouldn't have been in that position arguably, but it was a close game over the final 10 minutes really.
They were missing a starter or two, and I felt we were the more talented team. They dictated tempo and how the game was played. They pretty much led the entire game and usually by 8-9 points. Yes we made a couple small runs in the second half but they lasted for about a second and boom it was back to 8-9. I know a lot people focus on the word man handled but its whatever word that u want to use......they whipped us from beginning to end. Most disappointing opening game I have watched as a Tennessee fan.
