I believe he's referring to the amount doled out to student-athletes under the new full cost-of-attendance model the NCAA/Power 5 is considering.

I think he is referring to the total cost of attendance for players. Where are you getting these numbers from? I don't think we will be able to deviate from what other schools do. Once sab finds out we give 5500 wouldn't he just raise it. And then so on from there. There will have to be a level playing field.
