Speaking as someone born in the 60's, your going to work your whole life. If a young adult has the opportunity to do something exciting and special that you have a passion for then I would tell them to jump all over it.

Clark may have been battling injury or lost interest/motivation. Hope he didn't move on just to enter the work force.

Or it could have been student loans. I didn't him on the list of Scholarship players but it may have been updated after he informed CBJ.

Don't have a good feeling about our D line right now. Maybe somebody can post something to change my mind. Please!

DE-Vereen, Vickers
DT-Williams, Carr
DT-Saulsberry, O'brien
DE-Williams, Brown

That's without naming any of our freshmen. I think we are pretty decent on the dline. Not as much overall talent as last year, but far more depth.

Saulsberry is going to be our best Dlineman this year.

I hope your wrong...sort of. I hope Saulsberry is every bit as good as we think he will be. But I also hope there are guys better than him whether it be new recruits or emerging legacy talent.

Anyone of the DE is an upgrade over J Smith.

Iv'e come to the conclusion that 2014 will be gut renching for the fan base. So many set the expectations way to high. I will watch every game come what may but 2015 is the year I believe we see the improvement so desperatley wanted.

Very true but when it comes right down to it, every year will be gut wrenching for many on VN. If we win 9 games, some will whine cause we didn't win 10. If we win 11, some will whine because we didn't go undefeated. Some will always have unrealistic expectations regardless of the talent level at any given time. Guess that's why they are fan(ataics).

Point taken, but let me assure you, UT is not winning 9 this year. 2015 is the year. This year will be lots of growing pains.

I think it is unlikely as well... but then again several of UT's opponents are having issues of their own. Ole Miss has players in trouble last I heard. UGA will always have discipline and coaching issues IMO as long as Richt is there. UF has problems. USCe will not be as talented as UT this fall IMO though they'll have an experience advantage. Vandy has issues. Mizzou lost too many of their best playmakers from both sides of the ball. UK has issues.

It is far from a sure thing but the door is open if UT can find a way to take advantage.

The D line is gonna play a huge part in if we get to a bowl this season, and Carr needs to be a big part of that.

I agree the quality of our lines and QB will decide our season. I think QB play alone could determine 4-5 games.

I look for marked improvement in team speed, but it may be 2015 before we really shake the slow as molasses moniker.
