I'm a sophomore at ut and Im trying to volunteer for the football team in any way possible this year. Does anyone know anything about how to apply?

ask your advisor or just walk down to the athletic department and ask someone at a front desk if they know who you should talk to.

It is alarming that only 15 seniors on the depth chart and that they are the only NCAA team that is having all new OL and DL..... Sounds encouraging for NEXT year. Hope they make improvements for this year that is all I care about which is 6-6 anything is is gravy!!!!!

You have to wonder what is better though. To be loaded with a bunch of experienced losers or young winners? You could tell when Kiffin took over he had a group of kids that had been winners at one point. You could also see last year how many losers Butch took over. I will agree that Kiffin had more talent on his roster than Butch. Although you could also feel last year we still had kids with that loser mentality. Hopefully things are changing. I cant take many more seasons of sucking.

Yes it is alarming, but with this top class coming in and a top class coming in 15, we are well on the way back to the top, we will be there sooner than later.

I sure hope we go bowling. If we have another 5-7 type year, some of the current commits might start looking around. Got to show real progress, and that would be a bowl appearance. Plus I think we need to win that game to end up 7 - 6 as a worst case senario. Not being negative, being realistic.

One of the more "interesting" Stats in the article:

Forty-six of the team’s 95 players went through spring practice for the first time this year.

Plus there are those on the team that are so new, that they haven't even had a Spring Practice.

Infusion of new blood and old bloodlines. GBO
