I'm sorry but I don't understand the jargon about blackouts. I haven't paid any attention to blackouts recently because I go to all of the games, but with the Kentucky game falling on Thanksgiving break, I won't be able to go. Will I still be able to watch the game on the SEC network or am I just SOL?
News from the Mothership. This game is scheduled to be on the SEC network. It is Blacked-Out on ESPN Gameplan in Tennessee and Kentucky. As of now it is available on ESPN3 for live streaming. Please note it is subject to change. I will try to update if it changes.
That is all.
I wish they would just call the SEC Network the Jeff Pilot/Raycom Game of the Week again. The whole "Network" thing confuses people still 3 years later.
This can't possibly be breaking news, or that big of a problem for anyone here in East TN. Why would anyone in TN or KY watch the game on ESPN Gameplan when the game is available on their local SEC Network affiliate? (CBS here in Knoxville) As far as I can tell there aren't 2 SECN games that week that would lead to regional coverage and possibly have people in West TN seeing a different game, so the game should be available to anyone in the SEC footprint on the regular SEC Network affiliate.

Isn't the plan to launch a legitimate network, similar to the Big 10 Network, sometime in the near future? I'm sure these games will be a cornerstone of that network's programming, so they've just rebranded it already.
