Not how I was expecting that game to end with such a large lead going into the 8th, but a good win nonetheless and great outing by Owenby

Gotta love that, Frosh comes in, takes over for Williams, get's it done on the road. Series is tied.

Really other than Williams struggles it was an all around solid pitching outing. Quillen struggled towards the end, but it is kind of hard to expect a freshman to get you deep into game in SEC play. Then Bettencourt came in and gave a very good two innings, and Owenby finished out strong

And...let's not forget Simcox, his 2 out, 2 run dbl was huge! HUGE.

Added the second game of the Missouri USCjr doubleheader. South Carolina was really not to impressive this weekend winning 2 out of 3 against Mizzou but they were hard fought games.
