If foster can get close to 200 yds I think UT would win. Big if though.

Those California teams will melt in the hot South in early season. Anybody remember the early season opener against UCLA several years ago when we ran out of ice and drinks and it was in the 90's.

Take the points and bet on the Vols in this one!!!

i know, but my gut instinct says to be alittle skeptical of tennessee this year. hopefully Cut will change my mind in the fall when we are at 100%. i already feel alittle better about us after watching the orange and white game. hopefully we will continue to improve.

Cal should be good, with a lot of experience returning on offense. However, I have to believe that on a muggy September day in Neyland, any UT team has an advantage over a team flying cross country.

I think it will be close, however, I think Cal will run out of gas in the 4th Quarter and we will be well served by our depth at TB.

34-24 UT

yes, I expect cal to be a preseason top 10 team and the favorite to win the pac 10. Of course UT was picked to win the SEC last year and was preseason no. 2, we know what that was worth.

I think cal doesn't have a chance personally...

it all really rides on how Ainge plays and the o-line and d-line. everything is pretty solid except for the wr's who have to step up.

A Tennessee loss in this one will set the table for a 6-6 season. For that reason, I think a desperate UT team will beat the paper tiger from Berkeley by 10.

O.k I will do better.

It all depends on how Ainge plays. I think the O-line and D-lines will be adequate but thin. WR's are adequate as well, but not great. The season is really in Ainge's hand, if he plays well so will the vols, if he doesn't it may be a repeat of last season.

His last scrimmage was pretty good, don't you think?
