By the way, did Wilhoit get it through the uprights on the kickoff. It looked like it, but it was hard to be sure.

Note: The commentators said Hardesty came out of Western Carolina, he came out of Eastern Carolina. I go to school with a couple guys that went to school with him in New Bern, NC.

too many 3rd downs for my liking...glad we are convering most of them, but i'd sure like to be getting some more 1st downs on 2nd down...

For some reaosn, they just are making me nervous...and i would expect everyone we play to insert some kind of option in their offense.

but two really good drives, lots of ball control. coker has to hold on to the ball...(that's why we haven't seen him earlier in the year folks).

Hardesty needs to learn how to go north and south...i don't mind cut backs or making a move...but you cna't go lateral the whole time. at some point, you have to put your head down and go.

good 1st half all in all. Wilhoit is the man. Chris brown has had a good game as well as the WR's...hope meach isn't hurt real bad or anything.

keep it going in the 2nd half.:clapping:

Defnitely, I think they're a better team than Auburn they just didn't show it that day......You know just as well as I do, they're going to want a piece of us after what we did last year down there in Baton Rouge

I think the rules could be revised.

2 minutes warnings in 2nd and 4th Quarter.

Do not start the clock until the ball is caught on kickoffs.

its always hard to tell with these things. MSUs defense looked really good at the beginning of the season. ESP in the USC game. USC looked like it had few problems against the auburn defense that kept lsu out of the endzone, but now that LSU offense is lighting up that MSU defense. So everything chenges as the season goes on. The only thing that has been consistent with all these teams though is that MSU's offense stinks.

Tommy West turned against TN because Bill Battle was fired?

I'm not old enough to know about that was there some contreversy when he was fired? Anyone know?

Man that's what scares me even more knowing they will want the game bad. After all we did beat them in there 1st game back from Trina

Speaking of LSU wanting some of us....

You all know that politictian James Carville (bald guy with glasses that talks alot) I saw a documentry on LSU football and they did a big 10 minute section on that game (LSU vs Tenn 2005) and he's a big LSU fan. He was talking about how much he hated Tennessee. I thought it was funny. I never liked that guy that much, he's always running his mouth.

That's what I said.....If he can match the numbers he had last weekend against Marshall this weekend against Memphis he'll start next weekend
