UT vs. Memphis Game Thread

He wouldn't be complaining had we got a first down or two and ran the clock out. Since WILLIAMS fumbled, NOT HARDEGREE, it is a big deal.

I thought it was weird that the kept putting Hardesty in the game every time we got inside the Memphis 30.

Also nice to see Bo get in the game in his hometown. Like GA said, not every game you can get 3 QBs some game action. Never know when they'll be needed.

Is this a debate? I can see your point I guess, but in the scheme of things what's the big deal?

The point is, it is frustrating that they aren't letting Cromton get time when he deserves it.

He is the number two guy. There are times that you should put that guy in, and go with him to get him the expierence he needs.

I'm not ready to fire coaches or rip off my orange, but it's frustrating to see it happen.

We finally got that complete game that we've been talking about. We did good in all quarters and in most phases(punt returns sucked).

Bo's from Jackson. He came with the 5-star LB that got kicked off the team.

Not really freaky, since Hardesty is more of a bruising back. This kinda reminds me of a Cedric Houston and Jabari Davis tandem that is much more talented and has MUCH MORE speed.

Did Crompton not get playing time? I could've swore I saw him in there on a TD drive.

HV, get off it.

The running back never had the ball. He fumbled it without a hit, so that means there is a chance that Bo affected it.

I've said that only Bo and Jakouri know, but the fact is, Bo shouldn't have been in there.

Bo could have led us to a touchdown and I'd be pissed about it. There was no sense in having a third stringer in there.

Does Butch Davis like the weather in East Lansing? This is gonna be a long year for MSU and John L. Smith(starting with the 4th quarter against ND).

I'm basically saying: Jukey Jivey runners (like Hardesty) get ate up in the SEC. Until he changes his ways he will never be a good RB in the SEC. Not saying he doesn't have the potentional because he does. When he does run hard and hits people he hits them hard but that is few and far between.

He's to timid of a runner to even be in on a goalline, or 3rd and short play.

Off topic, I wonder who the new coach at Michigan State will be?
Mariucci's name came up with that a few years ago before he went to Detroit... think that's a possibilty, or is he still holding out for another NFL job?

Ah, well, as close to his home as he'll get.

I am not convinced that he is more bruising. Also, I don't see why you need a bruising back as effective as Coker was. Still plenty of running room inside the 30.

Can't see that. I don't think Davis would be interested in going somewhere that he is automatically overshadowed in his own state. If Schiano doesn't end up at the "U," East Lansing would be a perfect job.

Welp, I sure know that I can enjoy a win, though we made a mistake or two. It must be a sad life up on that pedestal of your's square.

You have officially forfeited the right to ever get away with calling anyone else a "negavol". :p

That's like saying that Gerald Riggs was from Knoxville.

Hardesty isn't much bigger then Coker or Foster, and he isn't able to run through that many people, mainly DB's. DL take him down pretty easily.

He isn't a bruising runner but runs over defenders at times. We don't have a true 235 lb RB that we can throw in for short yardage.
