Half the teams in the country are going to lose today . . . and we're not in that half . . .  so celebrate.

Thank GOD for a week off. I was wrong to complain about it.

James Wilhoite is on my #$%! list too.

And the same to UT... I hope they go undefeated again this season. Do us a favor though and beat UAT by more than 7pts. Give us some ammo to use against them!

Well i am very happy we won today. Yall are overreacting here just a lil bit. Riggs should have never been taking out in my opinon. He is the focus point of our offense.

I have no idea how we only gave up 10 points.

I dont understand that either. It was lower scoring than I expected on both sides of the ball. After all, UAB has typically given up TONS of points, but our defense is definitely improved from a year ago. I hope to goodness Carlos Hendricks isnt lost for the season again.

Blazer, let us know how that injured player turns out. Any word?

hey, everyone should remember that in 1998 we had a nailbiter to start the year against a team that was led by a big time qb

hey no problem man. I mean I hope we go undefeated but you never know. We just got to hand it to florida in two weeks.

Okay...I've calmed down. Blazer, great game. Your team should win your conference no contest. I apologize to the board for the negative things I said about Erik Ainge and James Wilhoite. My orange colored glasses got me in trouble once again. Maybe the way we played today wil make Florida overlok US.

Well we all know we will be underdogs next week!!! We all know what happens when we are the underdogs!!!!

No problem... we all understand that emotions run high in the middle of games. We talk bad about our players sometimes too... and Lance Rhodes is going to catch some grief. He had 2 HUGE drops. Once on a would-be first down prior to UT's 2min drill offense at the end of the first half. And the second miss was a would-be TD pass in the endzone. Oh well... we'll learn who you can count on and who you cant.

because our defence waits until the red (orange) zone to play.....

One thing I definitely noticed . . . It was Morley who was in the game on 4th down and broke up that last pass.

Yep them florida boys..................

BTW... just now sat and thought about the fact that lots of people just lost some money since they didnt cover the spread.

Fulmer is going to be chewing some you know what next week. He could weigh 350 by the UF game. :biggrin2: I thought the pass D was supposed to be better. :dunno: UF has to be licking their chops. It could get ugly in Gainsville.

in all fairness, there were many short passes that the lbs should have been covering better on and 282 yards for one of the most pass happy offenses and best qbs we will face isnt bad
