This team plays the game two ways. 1. get blown out 2. Blow the lead late. In your opinion, Vol66, what is the single most glaring thing that we are missing right now?

Man, I'm sooooo not in a good place...tonight I question CDS. He waited to long to pull one pitcher and knowing what he had in the BP , he should've let Martin continue IMO.
Over all, to answer your question, we're missing relief pitchers, we just don't have enough depth, Q pitched great, I mean he got ahead in the count against all but two batters I believe, he didn't walk anyone...Martin did well enough to win...as frey said, it's not like you can predict it, but it's the same problem every weekend.
* according to stats Quillen did walk 1 batter, apologies, still he gave up no runs.
I figured relief pitching would be the answer. Hopefully one more recruiting class will get us up to par in that area. While we've had a number of blowouts, we've been close in many games. Thanks for the input fellas
I know hindsight is 20/20, but Owenby has been solid in extended relief experiences this year. With a 2 run lead going into the 8th, I would have liked to see him get the eighth and ninth
UF just took the series from SC, 4-3.
Auburn beat UGA, 4-3. *
Ole Miss beat the Tide, 6-0.
LSU beat Arky 6-2
Vandy beats Mizzou 11-5 *
MSU beats TAMU 3-2
* = good for us...However, we need to win a game this weekend

I have no idea, been out of town for a couple of weeks, just relying on what Wilkerson and Serrano have said on the radio on SportsTalk and during games.
