Left game early. Disappointed by the effort for the first time this season from starting pitching, to fielding, to approach at the plate.

Not pleased

I've been in and out today, haven't got to watch the whole game, but from the little I have seen, disappointed is the right word.

Now we walk in a run...then give up a hit...16-2...another base hit, 17-2

Wilkerson: It's gone from bad to sad.

Wilkerson: "Thankfully, mercifully the inning comes to an end."

Flys out...Vols have now lost 8 in a row, I believe. Terribly disappointing to be swept at home. When I look at SC's pitching versus ours...We have a LONG, LONG,LONG way to go.

I think CDS will get yall where you want to be. He seems to know what he is doing, unlike Raleigh.

Today was a team effort. they were just going through motions today and I know the coaches know it.

Youth is not an excuse for today.

I know we are young but my Goodness 19-2 is not competitive.... I am not sure the talent gap can be overcome with just effort.... Bad players tend to stay bad & three more years of this will put the program on life support....What can we do to change the tone... The crowd support is better than the product deserves but at some point I am going to find something better to do with my spring weekends than invest my time on this baseball program..... Anybody got an idea how this can improve anytime soon ?

I have to admit. When I heard Godley would be the Sunday starter, I wondered if that was CDS saying, our best pitcher can't compete with their Friday guy...so the best chance for a win is to start our best guy on Sunday and hopefully we've made them use up some pitching and we can take one. I wondered if that would be something the players would accept or not, that we were conceding the first two. Pretty sure I'll get blasted for that, so be it.

We've had a few other "big run" games this year, but I have to agree with Frye, there was a lack of effort today and that's not been the case so far.

It's still early in the season, but I did not see the sense of urgency today. We're no longer trying to keep pace with Vandy and SC...but we should have some fire to out pace Mizzou and UGA...Do that and we go to Hoover and THAT is the next step. Really, I am disappointed today.

This wasn't a game, this was a route. If something big isn't done in the next week or so, the season and any hope whatsoever of a postseason may well be shot.
