That's right! AND it's at a neutral site, brings our record for neutral site to 2-2...5-13 vs. top 50 RPI...not great, but better....psyched for the win, obviously AND w/o Will Maddox...wonder if it was a day off, or if he's hurt from the UK Finale.

That's exactly what I was thinking. The offensive potential for this team is incredible. Simcox, Stewart, Jackson, etc...the pitching will catch up in time. Just need more arms and more experience for a few arms on staff. Serrano's specialty is pitching, which leads me to believe he will in fact get it fixed. Winning the series this weekend would be HUGE! But winning 1/3 would still be acceptable and a step in the right direction IMO.

This was a win/win for Blake Thomas and Andy Cox.

It was a midweek game but against a "big" opponent.

So, it's not like they were out there against a compass direction school and they did well. It was a good sign that both will get their chances on weekend or tourney play.

Despite the early fireworks, this became a pitching game late and the Vols held up excellently. This was important with the Vols injuries in the lineup.

I AM THRILLED WITH THIS GAME.
