UT vs. Vandy Game thread

Wade's problem is that he's inconsistent- he's either absolutely shake-your-head brilliant or "what the hell was that?!"

... and often in the same game

Our OL could be good next year. Scott, Young, Johnson, Jones, Pope, Sawtelle at tackle. McLendon, Richard, Parker, Foster, Myers, Shaw at guard. McNeil and Frogg at center.

I'm just a little worried that our passing game may be a little suspect. We will have Ainge, but I'm not sure how our short passing game will go with a bunch of young WRs.

I know Coker and Hardesty had 3 or 4 good runs, but our OL play still sucks. Short yardage esp.

Did notice that we had Scott and McLendon in there some early.

I wish when they put Jon in like this, they wouldn't put thrid and fourth string blockers and receivers too.

Any WR would have caught that last pass for a TD.

If Jon would have had time to look for Briscoe, he would have had one too.

That wasn't a WR route. It was a wheel route by the RB, in this case the FB.

However, he should have seen Briscoe right off the bat. That will come with experience. I'm not sure who the primary guy was, but the safeties moving out should have taken him to Briscoe pretty fast.

I just want to see him throw the ball atleast once in his career - Whether he screws up or not.

I wouldn't even care if they just let him heave a hail-mary instead of punting on a 4th down. I don't understand why he hasn't been given a shot in one of our patsy games.

My point being, anyone except stone-hands Anderson would have made the play. Poor Guy.

Our 2004 recruiting class's OL will be counted upon for starts next season. They should be good, yes?
