Sometimes I wonder if this was a "Screw You" to the fans and they lost on purpose...These guys have no pride at all...Very very sad

There's no way this team threw the game. They are just a bunch of undisciplined, poorly coached kids with no direction.

I have been a lurker around here for the past year, and I just had to post on this day. Never once have I really been a dyed in the wool VOL fan other than basketball. Yes even in the years between Ray Meares and Bruce Pearl. However, did any true VOL football fan expect this team to be any better than 3 & 9? After loosing to Auburn by 2, and they pulled one out of their butts against N.Illinios, those were good indications that they would not win another game the rest of the season. I don't think Fulmer is the complete problem, I think it is the entire coaching staff, including Chavis. True his defense has kept them in the games this year, but the good teams know his schemes and capitalize on them, case in point UCLA. They had his number in the second half as did their DC compared to the wonderful new OC for TN who looked like a deer caught in headlights!

Maybe Fulmer can go to Auburn as they are looking for an OC...LOL!!! I think the win against MS was a fluke, or was it? Those guys on the field looked awful small and resembled the second string Rebels from Maryville!!! Did Quarles loan the kids out just to get a win for the VOLS at home........Just think, the VOLS could have a good QB if they had only recruited harder in their backyard at Alcoa, but that is the UT way. In '86 Majors passed on a great running back that was less than 3 miles from Neyland stadium, but JoePa came down and welcomed with open arms in the name of Leroy Thompson. Randall Cobb looked good today against the Dawgs and a bad decision lost the game for the Cats. I hope they clobber the crap out of TN in three weeks and send Phil out with a bang!!!!!...........I saw "Juiced up" Majors at the Cumberland Grill two weeks ago and he was looking for a job. Maybe he would like his old job back...........LOL!!!!!............

I really hate if for the diehards here, but this season was coming just like the one Michigan is having this year, and the one Penn State (#3 in the nation now) had four years ago. PSU bounced back to go 11-1 in '05, 8-4 in '06 & '07, then look at them now!!!!.................

welcome to VN...

A buddy of mine just text me the score, I thought for sure we could win this one boy was I WRONG get all of them out NOW if you don't want to coach leave. I believe these guys deserve better than this. Look across that field there is talent everyone, no direction, get out Fulmer you are killing this University, fans, kids and Tradition!

I am totally in agreement that the entire coaching staff needs to be let go. That performance today was an embarassment to the university and an embarassment to the SEC! I am sick of the lack of discipline the players have. There is no passion, no pride, NO DISCIPLINE and not heart! You can't win a single game without those! I think that the players have let the "resigning" of CPF get in their heads. Never have I ever seen UT football this low. I hope the next coach we get chews their butts off when they don't play with discipline, heart, passion and pride. The talent is evident on the field, there is just a total lack of direction from the entire coaching staff. Lets hope that the 2009 season starts off better than this one has! I think to that "Philip Fulmer Day" is going to be a joke. WHy honor a man whose players play football with a complete lack of discipline?

Which field? The talent level, particularly on offense, is lower than I have ever seen it in Knoxville.

The offense really SUCKS big time this year. Reason #1: 3rd down and 1 or 2 and have a pass play and come up short(that's terrible!). Reason #2: No consistency and the Offensive Coordinator and the QB coach sucks!
Worst season the Vols have had in quite sometime!:cray::no::banghead2::shakehead::bad:

Totally unbelievable! I was in Lexington today and saw the score flash up on a tv. This was at the half. Told myself, nah...they can't lose to Wyo! Went to BW3 and the crowd was laughing about the final score! Mind you their cats just lost, but this took some of the sting out of it. If these players really wanted to send CPF on a good note, why did they lay an egg like this? A sad day for Orange Nation...:cray:
