I was about to say how this is a lame post...but then looking over the schedule I am sad to say it might get that bad.

Quite honestly, we might not beat College of Charleston on Wednesday. But yeah, every one of the above games are reasonable loss assumptions. I'd include Arkansas and 1 of the following: Auburn, OleMiss, or @LSU.

I said 13 wins at the start of the season and they're on pace to hit that. This never was a tournament or even an NIT team. There's far too many roleplayers. They're great kids but I'm not sure anyone on this team outside of Maymon could even play in Europe. I hate to use the expression, mid-major talent, b/c it sounds derogatory but there's too many kids on this team that shouldn't be playing at a BCS basketball program. Missouri St, sure! Tennessee, not so much.

It's far too early to give up on them but I'm not gonna schedule my evenings around their games this year. They've got to show me something first. And tonight's performance showed me I would've been better off cleaning the gutters.

UT will be lucky to win 9 or 10 games this year, this is what happens when you have no talent & a subpar coaching staff.....next 5 or 6 years gonna be bad on RockyTop!

There is no excuse for this loss today. Whatever caused it needs to be dealt with soon.

If anyone would care to take a look at some posts on this subject from about six weeks ago, they will see that I predicted that we finish the season with 10 to 15 wins. It seems that I may be right.
After this game, I don't see us getting Stokes to come to U.T. I see him going to Kentucky, where he can go to the NCAA every season and have a good chance to go to the NBA.
Any chance for us to get Stokes, after today, is all but gone.

Looks like the Vols will be a NIT team

Hardly! They will end the season with 8-10 wins MAX. You know I was OK with Bruce being let go. He lied repeatedly and put the University in a bad position. They did what they had to do. But the replacement coach was such a stretch that I am amazed they hired him to replace Pearl. Lots of thoughts on the football coaches early departure in the Football Forum but frankly I think Martin will be extremely lucky to make it past next year. Horrid play. Horrid point guard play. Horrid rebounding on this team. Ugh. Will be a long cold winter on the hill.

I've been a Vol fan since I could remember watching games in the 70's and I don't remember seeing basketball and football being this bad. This is such a terrible time.

"This was the only game I could afford to go to this year. Severely disappointed."

I sold 3 tickets for $10 lower level at the Pitt game and handed 4 tickets to the ticket office to give away at the AP game. I have been going for years and getting tickets for $5 outside the gate. I've had people hand me free tickets.

Don't buy them early, go with a $10 bill and you should get a ticket and a coke.

And hopefully a gun with one bullet to end your misery after watching this team play.

UT will be lucky to beat Charlotte. They've only lost 1 game and I would consider it an upset if we beat them.

Our high water mark for SEC wins is going to be in the 5-6 range.

My gosh stop with the doom and gloom you all are crazy, Tennessee got beat by a bad team, so what? It happens. If Tennessee and A.P play 10 times UT wins 9 easy. A.P shot 70% in the 2nd half yesterday. Charlotte was almost as bad of a loss last year with the slime ball as a coach. He left Coach Martin absolutely nothing. Tennessee's basketball situation is almost as bad as Indianas and it took them 4 years to be relevant again. Chill out and if you hate it so much DON'T WATCH the real fans will continue to,
