‘23 VA ATH Cameron Seldon (Tennessee Commit)

I can only imagine the great time and fun that Cam had last night. If that didn't turn his blood orange and seal it for life then nothing will! HAHA! So glad he and his coaches got to experience that game. Tell Cam November is getting closer and so is his time to come and carry on what this team has started!
He's ready

Anybody think Cam will getting some snaps his first year?
I think his versatility will allow the offense to go from our standard 1 RB 3WR 1TE set to empty backfield sets without substitutions. I'm interested to see what wrinkles the coaching staff can add to this offense once they get more players they recruited for their system.

I think so. Look at Joshua Joseph’s on defense. His work load keeps growing as the year goes on and he keeps making plays. If seldon comes in works hard and makes plays, coach will have absolutely no problem playing him. Especially with our depth problems at rb, and a need for new wrs next year

If he learns the playbook, it will be hard to keep him off the field. Unlike most freshmen that come in, your nephew is physically ready for SEC play right now and a threat to score from anywhere on the field. Two words will make all the difference.... playbook and consistency.

If Cam can come in and learn quickly, then I think some may be surprised at how quickly and how much he contributes early on. Quite frankly though, a young man with his skill set is going to be impossible to keep off the field in some form of fashion, even early on. Man, does he ever have a bright future here.

Cool, id love for him to play but I'm more excited just to see out there in a Tennessee uniform. I'm going to try and make it to every game I can, playing or not. Go Vols!

I agree with those who said that its up to him and how fast he picks up on everything. How fast the college game slows down for him cause it is a huge adjustment for him. I do believe he will get a lot of special team work and see how he develops. I mean he might do better with a red shirt year. But coming in in December is a YUUUUUUUUGE thing for him. Winter workouts and conditioning, Spring practice and then Fall practice is going to help a whole lot. He will have a good understanding of the system and playbook.

For his long term development and future it might be better for him to only play in four games and get the redshirt. We possibly will only lose Tillman from the wr group and are returning all our rb’s so the opportunities will be hard to come by, but if he is more talented than his older teammates then I doubt they keep him off the field. Good luck to him!

Top 50 players do to come to Red Shirt. Maybe 20 yrs ago, not now. He'll be a day 1 stud

even though the wr core will be pretty deep again, i think the staff will find ways to get him in on a few packages. would be really good on sweeps
