‘23 VA ATH Cameron Seldon (Tennessee Commit)

I know it seems like this game is just another small school we are gonna blow out, but there’s actually a side story to this one… Ty Simpson was a 5* QB from TN last year that flirted with UT for a long time before ditching us for alabama. That kids dad is the head coach of UT Martin..
He also told Coach Heup he would give him and his staff a chance to recruit him and then committed to Alabama three days later.

I love Jalin and I'm excited about his progress, but calling him a clone of Devonta Smith is over the top. Jalin compares well to Smith in straightline speed, but he hasn't yet shown the elusiveness of Smith or the ability to "go up and get it" to near the degree we saw from Smith.

We're enjoying the combination of two great things right now.
1. Jalin's pure speed.
2. Our scheme confusing defenses.

Hyatt is making the most of his chances right now and there's nothing more I'd ask of him. But Smith had the ability to make plays out of nothing. I hope Jalin gets more opportunity to showcase that ability and grow in that area, but we're not there yet. And that's not a knock on Jalin.
Spot on. Thank you for your sanity.

A bit of humbleness and humility might help a little here. I sort of got what you were saying, but you also said "will never be a starter." If you would just take a minute to explain yourself, when so many didn't clearly understand what you meant, instead of rolling your eyes, questioning people's reading comprehension and having the audacity to question, you might actually have a little more credibility here.
Or just leave out the part of never being a starter since it's purely a guess, and one that is either intended to inflame or purposely draw confusion.

Uncle P this stuff happens form time to time in here. We will finally get back to reality a some point. In the mean time, does Cam play tonight? If so who and what are the chances for a win? If he does I hope he balls out!
It's no biggie....yeah last I heard they were up 22-0 almost halftime. Not sure any stats or anything, I normally watch it live but the camera is down.

Kid will never be a starter.
He'll get split between 2 positions and just produce yards, big plays, and TDs.

Because of Percy Harvin in college.

Deebo Samuel and Cordarrelle Patterson in the NFL, you have a position for guys like Cam Seldon.
He'll always be the 5th WR or 2nd RB and just have 120 total yards a game with 1 TD.
120 yards a game , starter or not will get him in the NFL.

I was talking about his body type and build. But you guys go off I guess.
Not going off. Whatever that means. Just saying speed is coveted in the NFL. You see it in the draft every year. I have no idea where he’ll eventually be drafted, but it would be great for Tennessee if he went in the first round. Ok, done going off.

Seems a few people got confused when I said he looks like Devonta Smith and think I meant he’s as good as him already. Was comparing body types and speed in response to one guy saying he couldn’t go first round cause his size. If he keeps showing out the way he is he can definitely make it first round.

He can definitely go first round if he continues to have big games. He's twenty pounds heavier than Smith was when he was drafted in the first round. If he gets a first round grade at the end of the season, he's gone. He's 1 TD reception away from tying the UT single season record for TD receptions (he's already tied for 2nd), and we have 5 regular season games left. He's also likely to break 1,000 yards receiving (769 w/ 5 regular season games left).

Yeah he bulked up a lot this past offseason while keeping his speed. He’s really taken a huge step forward this season. Can’t wait to see how this offense performs with Ced back.
