I figured. I know some players are better on one side, but prefer the other. Just curious if he felt like that. Can't wait to see him in this offense.Definitely offense lol

What do y'all think about our dark mode uniforms? Apparently we're gonna be wearing new orange helmets against SCar too. . . what a great time to be a new Vols fan or to be playing at UT.
WR being his long term position doesn't mean you don't move him around to create mismatches. It just means that is his primary, designated position. On draft day, you want his name called as a WR. The RB position is not nearly as valued anymore in the NFL. I'm sorry, but Princeton Fant wasn't/isn't an early round NFL prospect. His versatility shown this year will likely give him a chance to make a NFL roster though.“Long term” maybe at the next level. Under Heupel I believe they create a flexible role that will be heavily utilized. See Princeton Fant only more.
Maybe we’re not disagreeing as much as you’re interpreting. And I wasn’t touting Fant as a first or second day (if at all)selection. POINT was Heupel found the best use for him…same guy that was portrayed by many fans as a wasted roster spot. So extrapolate that with SeldonWR being his long term position doesn't mean you don't move him around to create mismatches. It just means that is his primary, designated position. Big words hurt. Please just tell him you mean Huepel will utilize him and his skill set in the best way possible like he has done with Fant. I've never been in the wasted roster spot crowd (not assuming that you put me in that category). He's always been one hell of an athlete. But, between injuries and all the position changes, he wasn't put in a position to succeed previously. This is how this relates to Seldon. It takes so much to master your craft at the college level and beyond, that a kid needs a primary position. Then they can be used elsewhere situationaly.Maybe we’re not disagreeing as much as you’re interpreting. And I wasn’t touting Fant as a first or second day (if at all)selection. I’m not putting this on him this early, but I could see what Marshall Faulk could’ve been in this offense. It’s a matter of not parking him behind more experienced RB’s OR WR’s. If he’s on the field, he can be EITHER at any point, which would make him more valuable…hence more touches. You’d keep him in more series since we don’t sub. And he’s getting coached up and developed. Now that I think about it, maybe a faster Kamara. I’m most likely repeating somebody else.Moving a guy around doesnt always mean desuetude for him and his prospects
Alot of coaches would hamper development sure but i dont see that interminable trope here
If you read my earlier post, it says to move him around situationally. He can be a WR that moves to tailback in certain packages. It's much harder to master the WR skillet than it is to play RB (see Cordarrelle Patterson).Moving a guy around doesnt always mean desuetude for him and his prospects

Is there a deadline for him to declare his position group? What if he practices both?If you read my earlier post, it says to move him around situationally.
