You have given me absolutely no reason to doubt you since you've joined us, so I believe you here; but, even if you are being generous, and it's more like 4.5, even into very low 4.6, that's still elite at his size, that's moving, to be that big.

However, from the looks of his highlights though, yeah...he looks to be every bit of a 4.4...he can move. Super excited for him, ya'll and us.
His track times would indicate 4.4 at worst.

Oh for sure....I'll ask him to see

4.3 is what I use to clock myself at after about starting the clock 2 seconds after I took off

I set a school record in the 40 during my tryout for OL at the end of the 8th grade year. Years later my coach assured me that nobody would ever run it that slow again. Pretty sure I cracked a sub 10 second 40 though. An injury is what kept me from 4 years of standing on the sideline helmet in hand. It provided me some cover.

Well hopefully your school named the field after you or a statue for holding onto that record for so many years

Well, sounds like he ran like a statue.

Probably tied a few. I was always STOCKY as defined in politically correct circles. Different wording in the hallway.

In baseball I had to sweat out being thrown out at first from right field.

One of the latest bloomers ever. Entered SR year at 5’6” and graduated at 6’1”. Grew 2 more inches in college. Less stocky but never average build, or close really.
