‘23 VA ATH Cameron Seldon (Tennessee Commit)

Nahhh, let him get as much action he can get. Will need to be ready for next year and its doubtful he will be here 4 years anyways
The question is how much can you legitimately work in.. we don't sub on offense so who starts drives, finishes them. He's behind 3 RBs and I don't think we'll take Squirrel/Thornton out of the slot.

When he was out wide during the spring he was playing the 4th WR in the formation.

Seldon makes playcalling easy, and I don't think Heupel will just sit him.

He's the most talented RB on the team, and probably 5th best WR, so Heupel will use him.

yeah, that's what happens when you don't rely on 14 play drives. you don't HAVE to substitute. We average less than 5 plays per scoring drive against Alabama.

we spread the ball around plenty. at least as well as other top offenses. Our 2s & 3s get comparable catches as anyone else.

We don't sub on long drives either. Played to our advantage because defenses couldn't sub either. Alabama was left with 3 edge rushers and/or 3 safetieson the field every play against us and with Wright shutting Anderson down and Hyatt working against a safety it wasn't good for them

and yet our 2s & 3s get similar catches to other elite offenses 2s and 3s. I had a heckin long thread in the FF about it breaking it down.

The only "draw back" to our offense is that we don't throw it a ton, and when we do we are incredibly efficient. Washington the #1 passing team, threw it 100 more times than we did. Mississippi State completed more passes than we even attempted. and Hyatt didn't get absurdly too many touches for the Biletnikoff winner. Ohio State had two WRs with more touches (i think 10+) than Hyatt.

So yeah, we don't substitute so that some freshman can go run a route and not get thrown to. when we put them in, they get targeted.

Sorry but is he still a recruit? Can we please close threads in the recruiting forum for players that are already on the team

I see you don't post much and much of what you post has been in other forums. Here in the RF, we do things to the beat of our own drummer.

With some gentle course corrections from @frank from time to time.

You can redshirt any year. Just cause he plays as a freshman doesnt mean he completely burns the redshirt, it's just burnt for that year. If he needs it his Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year, it'll still be available.

Nobody reads the FF

Russell weighs more. TN very high on Keith and I’m told today that Seldon has made massive gains mentally this summer.

Thought I would drop this in for you Uncle Plove
It can be overwhelming for a freshman coming into an SEC program. Players usually make a big jump mentally once they realize that the stage isn't too big for them. It sounds like Cam has cleared that hurdle. Good to hear.
