That would be a misrepresentation of what was said. What Day stated was simply how much was needed to keep the current roster intact. He never said they were behind or weren't making a bunch of deals for newcomers or anything like that.

I do agree he was drumming up business, which you have to be doing at all times, or else get left behind. There are no days off in CFB.

I have no idea if what was said is the case for PSU...but someone has to be "behind" after all and PSU wouldn't be a huge surprise. They've gone 4-5 and 7-6 in Franklin's umpteen season. I'd say any luster is wearing off in that fanbase.

I mean, NiL was on training wheels last year outside of A&M.
