And Vanderbilt throws a pick during their 1 minute drill. Wake Forest returns it to the Vanderbilt 40 with 16 seconds left and 2 timeouts.

Smart play. Wake Forest runs, but the RB slides at a certain yard line. The whole play takes 3 seconds and allows Wake Forest to use its last timeout to line up for a FG.

Vanderbilt gets first and goal at the Wake Forest 1 yard line.

Stopped short of the endzone on 1st down.
Snapped over the QBs head and stopped short of the endzone on 2nd down.
Stopped short of the endzone on 3rd down.
…and stopped short of the endzone on 4th down.

Goal line stand.

And the RB fumbles it trying to cross the goal line from the 2.

The call is a TD but it’s under review.

And it’s ruled a fumble short of the goal line. Vanderbilt recovers.

Vanderbilt stops Wake Forest at the 1 yard line following an 83 yard drive.

Still 27-14.

3rd and short Vanderbilt?

Snap it between the QB and the RB at the same time and get nothing.

What looked to initially be a completed pass and targeting on 4th down at midfield turns out to be ruled not targeting and an incomplete pass upon further review.

Turnover on downs. Wake Forest ball.

Vandy always sucks **** in meaningful OOC game. I think one year they beat Kansas State and that is the only meaningful OOC game they have ever won.

Pretty jump ball pass. 26 yard TD pass to make it 33-14 Wake Forest with 11:30 left in the game.

(2 point try was no good).

2017. They beat Kansas State 14-7.

I mean also, to be fair to them, they only lost by 5 to #8 Notre Dame in 2018.

I guess what are we defining as meaningful? Ranked or just Power 5?

Pretty 30 yard TD throw while being tackled, on a rope between the 2 defenders double-covering his WR for a Vanderbilt TD.

It’s now 33-20 Wake Forest with 9 minutes left in the game (2 point conversion was no good).

Wake Forest can’t punch it in from first and goal. 20 yard FG is good. 36-20 Wake Forest with about 2 minutes left.

Vanderbilt’s QB: Almost picked, sacked, and almost picked again.

And turnover on downs.

Final score: 36-20 Wake Forest

Clawson apparently is now 4-0 vs SEC teams here, although not for that catastrophic play before halftime, this would have been an 8-9 point win.
