The Nashville TV news stations reported last night on sports that the Vanderbilt Women's basketball team will refuse to enter any arena until after the nation anthem is played...a stupid unpatriotic move on the part of the Vanderbilt women's basketball coach and the team. Proud American and veterans should absolutely refuse to attend any of their games. I never believed that a thing like this would happen to an SEC team! Call Vanderbilt and should them your objections.

I don’t think you need to be a proud American or veteran to refuse to go to a Vanderbilt Women’s basketball game. Just a functioning brain.

The Nashville TV sports news reported last night that the Vanderbilt Women's Basketball team will refuse to enter the arena until after the national anthem is played in a protest move. I never thought that I would live to see the day that this would happen within the SEC. Folks it is time that proud Americans and military veterans like myself react to this by absolutely refusing to buy tickets or attend any Vanderbilt women's basketball team. I hope the University of Tennessee will wait until they enter the arena and them play the national anthem or absolutely boo them out if they refuse to be present for the national anthem at UT.

Boycott Vandy athletics like their fans do.

Our band offered to play The Eyes of Texas at the football game in Austin this season (since their "woke" band refused) but our president wouldn't allow it. That kinda sucked...the Rice MOB (Marching Owl Band) would have been all over that chit.

Wonder why no one has an issue with CFB teams waiting until the national anthem is over to enter the field?

Don’t want OP to miss out on a golden opportunity to clutch her pearls. 😂

Far as I can remember UT football has done for decades. So they arent making a statement.

But alas, what fine, principled and educated young 20 somethings we see gracing these fine educational institutions such as Vandy

Yep, expressing their constitutional freedoms and whatnot, even if it doesn’t pacify the fragile sensibilities of others like the OP.

Once again vandie exposes itself as a leftist swill-hole. Didn't need another reason to loathe the commode-doors, but that's one.
