It probably should be closer...but Vandy had opportunities to make some plays, and they didn't. 4th and 2 inside the Bama 30, and they should have converted but they threw it away...Nickson had open receivers and threw some bad passes...Vandy dropped a few interceptions too.
The refs did hammer Vandy with big penalties though...a touchdown called back, a 60+ yard pass called back, and a 30 yard penalty to give Bama an extra 3 points going into the locker room...that's a lot of big plays.
I know they are on the road, but Alabama just doesn't look all that different from last year. JPW isn't nearly as dynamic throwing the football as I expected him to be.
