Just perusing the Dawgs chat lines almost gives one radiation sickness. As all of you know who have been there, there is almost a total meltdown on those sites. I've been to Sanford Stadium when Tennessee won as well as when they lost and have been subjected to the rude, abusive fans inside and outside the stadium on more than one occasion. Even when the Vols won in '98, I've never heard such obnoxiousness as we walked back past "fraternity row" or whatever its called on our way to our car. As someone said earlier, you just don't make eye contact with the loudmouths. So, I really must admit that it's rather nice to see how a humiliating loss to the Vols and now the Commodores serves as the ultimate humbling experience for such arrogance. Perhaps all fans should remember that the "good times" don't last forever and neither do the "bad times". It's only when one assumes that the "good" will always be the rule that he/she tends to get arrogant and sets himself/herself up for such meltdowns.
That said, the Vols need to forget about everyone else and concentrate on winning out this year; then everything will take care of itself. (But I'm still enjoying the meltdown!!!!!)
