Quick aside for hat, What do you think of the WV coach, I have seen clips on him and he seems to really get involved in the team and gets exited when they score, something the vols need....bad in my opinion.
Rich Rodriguez certainly has done a fabulous job at West Virginia. While I still have scepticism about the long term viability of the spread option, Rodriguez is certainly an up and comer.

I was thinking about that last night as I watched WVU tear apart the Pitt defense. It dawned on me that Smith and Slaton got hurt in the ONLY game that they have played this year to date-UL. They are spectacular players yes, but they would be beat up pretty bad at the end of the season in a conf. with strong, hard hitting defenses. I hope that Rutgers D (which is pretty good) can put a hit or two on them. It will interesting to see how they respond.

Rodriguez made me a believer when he ripped through the C-USA with Tulane in '98. Not that the C-USA is tough, but Tulane's talent level was simply abysmal. What they did with that scheme was miraculous.

Tommy Bowden was the HC, but everyone knew Rodriguez was the man.

As for Vandy fans, I have yet to see one here.

Cripes, I can't even find any anti-Vandy farks or pics!

I've seen a couple of posts on other boards predicting that Earl Bennett will have a huge day. That's about it.

Oh, and if they win, they'll be all over the board next week.
