Vandy fires OC Karl Dorrell

The paragraph that says Vandy was the only team in FBS to play 4 QB's and that multiple QB's played in 8 out of 12 games says it all. Mason never gave his guys an opportunity to get in a rythm. His coaching "philosophy" is equivalent to a baseball coach yanking a pitcher after failing to retire the first batter.

Pretty crappy for Dorrell's son who transferred from Stanford to be with his dad. Mason's incompetence is almost sorrowful for Vandy's sake.

One season with Mason in charge and they are already in full desperation mode. I don't think Karl Dorrell is the problem. Mason is the problem. He runs his mouth a lot, but doesn't really back it up with action. Hope Vandy keeps him around for another five years.
