I like this. I’m usually stuck in Bama doing Thanksgiving with the in-laws. This time I’ll make it back home for the game. Go Vols.

I know you were joking but there won’t be 100 Vandy students there. That is Thanksgiving weekend and the vast majority of Vandy students live no where close to Nashville.

I hope it doesn't. I don't see why we give them that much attention. Its not like its Florida. I wish we'd just go hang a Hunert on them and leave.

I think it would be cool if we pull it off. Not sure if the average fan will know, though. I still recall Bama having over 35k in Neyland in 2008.
It was humiliating but our own doing as TN fans sold their tickets to Bama fans.

It would be cool to checker Vanderbilt Stadium and also to tear the goalposts and dump them in the Cumberland River.

Over Thanksgiving break, the only students will be in the band.

Vanderbilt complained about playing UT over Thanksgiving because of that. Like it made much of a difference anyway.

Would that be the Andy band?

Not sure how it is this year, but historically many of their marching band members come from other nearby colleges such as Belmont.

Yes that would be cheaper. My comment was mostly in jest. FTR I'm not going to wear white to an away game, I'll always wear orange.

My son would love for us to make the 450 miles trek but he's got his own tournament that weekend. He's just thrilled it's a night game so he'll at least be able to watch in real time.

You can always throw a white t-shirt on over the outer layers...easy peasy. Get tickets, figure out the wardrobe from there, and most importantly make great memories.
