I would say both. He's a good coach who looked even better because of 1) Jordan Matthews and, more importantly, 2) Tennessee's ineptitude while he was there. And unlike a lot of guys he was smart enough to know when to cash in.

This is so funny to watch. I think we can beat these guys. Vandy has the worst QB in the SEC, I'm sorry Worley!

I wouldn't say Mason can't coach, just look at what he did at Stanford. Sometimes coaches are just not suited for head coaching jobs.

Wasn't attacking you, just speaking generally. They look terrible, no where close to Franlkin's teams.

On a side note, I actually think Vandy playing in this kind of home environment is worse for them than playing at a hostile away environment. At least there they can embrace an "us against the world" mentality. Their home environment is just demoralizing.

But powers being down have nothing to do with beating cupcakes. Guarantee Vandy doesn't lose this game with Franklin. Part of that would be due to knowing the system as well as him having them prepared. Franklin is a hell of a motivator and salesmen and guys bought into him. Vandy has "talent" and definitely relative to Temple.

Their 3 QB's were good enough for UNC, LSU and a 4* yet they look like they'd be riding the bench at Blackman HS right now.
