I had no idea.
I’m much happier to get the win than to bust their streak.
It was kind of absurd watching their fans booing dunks and layups because they weren’t three pt attempts. They were more worked up about a streak than they were that they were getting spanked at home by Tennessee.
That's the best part. To them an inconsequential streak means more than getting whooped at home by their hated enemy. Odd priorities.

"Shock Theater" was awesome, loved it when Dr. Shock would wack Dingbat with that skull stick. I googled it, there are some vids with Miss Marcia talking about the show.Where did you find Dr. Shock and Dingbat? They were a Chattanooga Saturday night mainstay in the 70s
Anyone who has watched SEC basketball knows about the streak. It's mentioned almost every Vandy game. I found out about it when I became a die hard bball fan in 2007.

It’s one of the few things Vandy sports could point to as a record. They mention it every basketball they have played since the early 1990s. It’s just cherry on the top of a great winI’ve been watching SEC basketball since I was in school at UT and I didn’t know about it. I suppose I’m in the minority.
I still don’t understand the elation and despair on both sides. Doesn’t seem like a big deal to me.
