Vandy vs Alabama

Sure seemed hard for Bama to play there yesterday.
They couldn’t stop Vandy’s qb. Vandy slowed Milroe down some. Bama isn’t a very good defense right now; that may be an insult to not very good defenses as well.

With our Vols playing at Vandy this year, the ‘Dores having a great home slate, and my living only 35 minutes from Nashville, I got season tickets for Vandy this year for a steal.

Saw them upset both VT & ‘Bama so far. The arrogant visiting fans leaving disappointed was rather satisfying.

My day was going so well until we crapped the bed against the Hogs.

This was the worst performance by a Bama defense I've ever seen. Sorry '22 TSIO.

I will never believe that Bama did a single second's worth of film study. They never adjusted. They were constantly confused. No one knew their assignments. No one had a solution, and no one seemed to care.
What do you think about the hire of Wommack as DC overall?

I get that DeBoer probably wanted someone with southern/SEC connections, but I didn't find his resume to be super impressive for the job he's got.

Vandy is really going to kick themselves if that Georgia St. meltdown keeps them out of a bowl.

Wommack has plenty of Southern ties and has a solid record as a recruiter. I was in favor of the hire at the time.

But he has to fix what has happened on the field over the last 6 quarters. Yes, he inherited a lack of experience. But that doesn't excuse a total lack of preparation.
