Vandy vs. Kentucky Game Thread

I thought about it, but the only logical way it could happen is if Kansas, Nova and Cuse all lose. Syracuse came damn close, and Kansas has a good shot at losing also.

I expect the Cats to land around #4/5. ASSUMING they win. We suck at holding/extending leads sometimes.

I dont think they fall quite that far down. maybe 2 or 3.

AND queue the freshmen mistakes. 19 point lead down to 11.

Back to 15. Thank God for Darnell Dodson.

Lack of maturity and discipline will cost this team a very important game in March. But they're fun to watch.

My thoughts as well Brian. Unless some drastic changes come, I don't think we have the mindset to pull off a championship. I hope I'm dead wrong.

And they are fun to watch. They also cause me to curse uncontrollably at times.

I'll agree that they're fun to watch. But that lack of killer instinct has to be troublesome to you guys (Hardwood and McCat) - they consistently build a double digit lead, but then take their foot off the gas. They gave Vandy all kinds of opportunities to get back in it in the second half, and Vandy continually shot themselves in the foot. (the ridiculous clanged reverse dunk attempt being Exhibit A.) And then there's the continuing Calipari Free Throw Curse.

Weren't you *****ing about Dodson during the SC game?

Yes. I absolutely was. Because during that game his play was a 50/50 mix between Stephen Pearl and Sheray Thomas. It was putrid.

He played great tonight. Which in no way guarantee's he won't look completely dumbfounded on Tuesday.
