Being an AA LB and alum of Northwestern, I doubt he goes anywhere for a while since he's locked up thru 2020. Michigan pursued him before landing Hoke and he declined, despite being offered significantly more money ($1.8M at NW to $2.5-3M at UM). He's very popular there and I'm sure NW would do whatever it takes to retain him. He's also been guaranteed some substantial facility improvements and assistant salary boosting. Glad to see him win against the West End sewer rat.

Fitz is pretty much one of my favorite coaches in the game. If I was an AD I'd go hard after him, even though there's essentially zero chance he leaves NW any time soon.
