I’m not saying it was appropriate necessarily. I just think it’s getting blown out of proportion. We live in such a wuss society now. I’ve seen plenty of coaches go nuts very similarly to that. If he spit, then that changes my mind. I can’t tell definitively. But giving a ref an earful isn’t exactly new.Well, let’s see what the school and SEC office thinks about it. If you think that is appropriate reactions by a head coach, then I don’t what to say. The officer was part of his own security (per other websites ) and had to physically push him away from the ref. No one thought Juwan Howard was going to hit an opposing coach either.
Even if he didn't spit, it was coming up behind the ref to intimidate him physically.I’m not saying it was appropriate necessarily. I just think it’s getting blown out of proportion. It’s pretty much in almost every game . College or pro. It was an awful call. Stackhouse already runs a little hot, he can’t go off like that though. No coach can go off like that and expect not to get tossed .that a new thing in basketball now ? Is the Gator chomp or Horns down gonna result in T now ? Flags in CFB seemed less this season for stuff like that

He was justified in some way. The tech that they called on one of his players seemed completely unfounded. The guy tapped the top of his head after making a layup… seeming to indicate that he got hit in the head. Either way, it was a bogus tech. I honestly don’t blame Stackhouse for going berserk.
Correct. I was stunned that Stackhouse landed the job in the first place. He never seemed to me to have the temperament of a head coach, and this has done nothing but strengthen that belief. It’s pretty much in almost every game . College or pro. It was an awful call. Stackhouse and Vandy never seemed like a good marriage to me. Stack always had some arrogance and a little swagger along with him. That’s not really Vandy to me. Not really sure what his resume was prior to Vandy, but I’m guessing that if he could do it over again he might take a different job than Vandy.Correct.
