We really needed this win for our tourney resume. It would be really helpful to beat Memphis too. I'm really concerned about our lack of offense though. This could really cost us a lot of games unless we find a way to improve.

Yesssssssssssssss! The offense is UGLY but the defense has been good enough 8 out of 11 times for the others team offense to be even uglier! I'll take the W. So glad we pulled this off. I've said it a million times this season but sooo proud of Josh Richardson.

Frankly, this Xavier team isn't the Xavier team of the last 4-5 years. They did beat Butler back in Nov so they have some talent, but they've also lost to an average at best Candy team at home and Wofford at home.

Good home win and it would've been a tough loss at home over a team we were favored to beat by 7.

Now on to Memphis. Let's hope Golden and Stokes come to play because today's effort isn't going to cut it.

It is nice to see a guy that can simply penetrate to the foul line area and make a simple jump shot. Lost art in college basketball.

Very few, which is odd because the NBA, for all its athletism and high light dunks, is still about making jump shots. You'd think more college guys would work on it.

Glad we won. I didn't know it was a good win though, I figured it would be a bad loss if we didn't prevail though. Teach me to be a negavol!!

No, Butler did.

If you're into comparative scores then try this one.

Xavier beat Butler 62-47, Vandy won at Xavier 66-64 and Butler beat Vandy tonight at Vandy 68-39. That's why you can't do that.
