It's not bad, but you can be mad without trying to kill people on pit road.

sorry, i didn't know it was bad to be mad when you get purposely taken out of a race, by the King of Controversy Mr. Tony Stewart.
It's not bad to be upset and frustrated, some drivers just handle it better than others. Kurt is even able to admit after the fact that he messes up and needs to act better about things.

right, because what went through his head was this:

'oh, i'm mad at Tony. oh wow, there's his jack man. i'm going to hit him. oh please oh please come around the front.'

Perfect example of Kurt knowing he messed up, he fessed up and apologized immediately after that. It's not what he was trying to do, it's what he could have done by being upset and acting in poor judgment because of it. You can't have guys going down pit road slamming into the car that they believe wrecked them.

Dale Jr. is overexposed and thats ok because of who he is. Is he a good driver yes. I was put off by him a while back because it was Jr. this and Jr. that but the more I hear and watch him the more respect I have for him.

He may not have been thinking that, but he had to know that the crew members were there. Obviously, he didn't care.

And please.. if Junior had done the exact thing that Kurt did, YOU would be all over that and taking every opportunity to bash Junior and say what an awful person he is, etc. Stop being a hypocrite. If Junior had done what Kurt did, I would be ready to kick his behind. You would've crucified Junior for the exact actions that you are defending Kurt over.

i know. i need to not be drinking AND posting at the same time. it's too fun getting Junior fans riled up under the influence.
Just a civil discussion. I'm not sure why when a Jr. fan is involved it means they're riled up... :peace2:

You are not getting me riled up... I was riled up LONG before I showed my nose around here. Don't flatter yourself.

Not to mention what Stewart did tonight, albeit unintentional.

I think mainly it's because about 90% of the time they are riled up.

see here's my problem.

his car also could have exploded and killed 400 people on pit road. his car could have fliped and ended up in the stands. he could have pulled out a machine gun and gunned down Tony Stewart in the garage. he could have called blown up the track.

none of the happened. fines, penalties and suspensions should be based on what happened, not what could happen.

and nothing happened.

People can try to kill others, and they're just mad and should be given a break.... if Junior sneezes, he's evil and should be put to death.

So it's OK for drivers to go flying down pit road with crew members over the pit wall and slam into another car... as long as they make sure nothing happens?

Yes, because of all the crap that always goes on about him. I wish people would just treat him like any other driver instead of trying to portray him as satan. Talk about things that get old... THAT gets old.

coulda, woulda, shoulda do not apply in my book. i base my opinions on what happens. nothing more, nothing less.
