Yea, he looks lost. Throws it away. We don’t have a quick point guard. Why not? Team looks lost. Coach is lost too. I think he’s trying figure out who wants to play. Well nobody obviously. Shoot the ball!

I would’ve pulled him after those first missed free throws to start the game. Set a bad tone for the rest of the team. I would bench him and start Bailey Jr next game if Springer isn’t ready to go. He’s hurting the team more than helping at this point.

He handles the ball more than anyone and he doesn't even lead the team in turnovers. He has a nearly 2:1 assist/turnover ratio, is our most consistent volume 3 point shooter, is second on the team in steals, and is one of our better rebounding guards. To single Santi out for being a liability is baffling.

He got hurt last game, his hip. He missed practice leading up to this game, he's in pain but played anyway.

-“It’s painful, obviously, when he tries to slide, do this or do that,” Barnes said. “He has not practiced since the Florida game. He came out today and it was the first time he’s been able (to practice), he did go through our shootaround. He understood what was going on. It’s hard not to practice (and then play). We all admire him for just trying to play.”

Barnes said he could tell during shootaround earlier in the day on Saturday that the game against Missouri wasn’t going to be easy for Vescovi as the hip pain continued.

“He’s such a tough, competitive guy,” Barnes said. “He said coach, I want to try it. He’s struggling a little bit there, but he’ll be back. I’m not worrying about it. I’m really not. I’m just impressed with the fact that he said I want to play.

“He said I’ve got to help my teammates. He’s not as quick as he normally is but he’ll be fine, because he’ll do all the things with our medical people to get right.”-
