HE RAN OUT
1717638000907.png

I show this as the end of that play. You have another one? He goes out of bounds after the LB who had been in pursuit soon after the play started when these three guys beat our 5 guys and he had to abandon the pocket, slowing as approached the LOS, found nobody open and once he crossed the line run was his only option.... Out of bounds is that white area which he obviously did not use or late hit out of bounds would have been in order.

He has plently of real flaws, go for those, don't make up or perpetuate a documented untruth about the end of that play and ignore the ball he through into the endzone the play before to a receiver with no vertical effort.

Joe faced the alternating year Bama and Florida road games and tough luck with Cooper Mays and Bru missing key games. I would not bet against him in the NFL to have an equal or better career than Hooker or Dobbs.

With the NFL speed he will have at his disposal.. I really think this will be his best shot. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Milton get a shot similar to Dobbs. Hopeful he proves a lot of ppl wrong!
You must not watch the NFL too often. I hope he exceeds Dobbs. Dobbs has had trouble making rosters. It's also silly to think he will be better in the NFL than he was in college.

It amazes me with replay that so many idiots STILL CONTEND he ran out of bounds to avoid contact. He left a collapsed pocket where our 5 whiffed on their 3, ran to the sideline head up and slowed as he approached the LOS with the LB still a n hot pursuit, then once past the LOS (22or so) ran down the sideline till he was KNOCKED OOB. I’ve posted the screenshot at the 8 a bunch of times. Could have been a hero chunking it thru the endzone.

Also the same folks forget his pass thru the hands of a receiver the lay before!

If you erase "to avoid contact" from the first sentence it's correct. He snapped the ball with 3 seconds, scrambled for 5+ seconds, then ran towards the sideline and slowed up when contact was coming. More or less giving himself up on the sideline. The point is that the smooth brain snapped the ball with 3 seconds and was content to be KNOCKED OOB near the sideline. If you're going to scramble til the clock hits 0 and then pass the LOS, I'd hope you're smart enough to realize you cannot get tackled but Joe is not that smart. That is the QB Heupel started over Hendon Hooker.

He threw it high to Tillman the play before (imagine that). Tillman should have timed his jump better and caught it but it was a typical Milton pass.

He can say that again . He was miles away when he got here. He kept his ego in check and kept working. It’s good to see hard work pay off.
I didn't think Richardson from FL would cut it in NFL either, but before he got hurt, it looked like he proved me wrong. Joe's got the all of the tools to succeed. Hope he does.

SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of you just can't stop kicking Joe even when you give half-hearted compliments. It's the equivalents to putting both sugar and salt in your coffee.

Now, as to Joe's comments on Tennessee-ization of players being NFL prepared, here's further proof the man wasn't just jawing.

Damning with faint praise.

I would love to see how he can throw a baseball. If he could throw ONE 110 mph fastball MLB would be coming to see him. I've never seen a stronger arm.

You must struggle with reading comprehension. I said “get a shot like Dobbs” not “have a career similar to Dobbs.”

Dobbs had to wait his turn, learn and develop.

Brady wasn’t amazing in college.

Phil Simms had a 6 TD to 11 INT ratio.

So no I don’t think it is “silly”. Wishful thinking by me maybe. But I believe in our guys. He has arguably generational arm talent. He will have the guys around him to pull the best outta him.

Dobbs wasn't on an opening day roster last year. It's not the first one either. He's the ultimate free agent, emergency QB. When the starter and backup are both hurt, Dobbs can come in learn the offense and possibly shine for a couple of weeks. Of course, it is the NFL, the best of the best. Being a consistent QB2 is actually much better than what Dobbs has been doing up until this year. Now it seems Dobbs has found a possible every week gig as QB2 for KC. Backup to Mahommes???? 2nd best job in the NFL.

Hopefully Milton can establish as a solid QB2 and keep that status

You have posted this long distance, grainy picture many times trying to prove your point. It does not. I saw this live and he gave up on the play and stepped out. Maybe he didn’t understand this was the last play of the game, or knew it and just couldn’t process it fast enough, or maybe (as numerous times before) he avoided contact. I saw this live, won’t accept your inconclusive picture as proof against what my eyes saw. HE GAVE UP AND STEPPED OUT

Show me better graphics that match your memory and I will buy it. Until then I will go with best available FACTS. He exited the pocket cause he had to, left was his only option, don’t know how the route structure on that play fit.

Throwing a prayer and ducking to avoid contact on the run to his left was an option, and a more valid one with time on the clock.

Maybe but I'm positive that the play in question was asked numerous times throughout the Pre NFL draft visits by every team.Look Joe is a great leader and representative of this University but if I'm an NFL owner/gm my one question would be "Joe u played 6 years man,ur 24 years old.I need u to tell me after all these years how ur gonna get better at this game?

You just an internet meme that chucks 🍊 or u gonna be able to get better and win us some games??It's a business at the end of the day.Joe will make a great coach I believe once the dust settles, he got a great future it just ain't at qb fellas!!
