Let me preface this by saying that I am a huge Palardy fan and was astonished by his 2013 turnaround.

Did anyone else see the blocked 44 yard field goal attempt in preseason play?

The announcers said Michael Palardy when #6 attempted the kick. I said that's not Palardy, he's too fat. Sure enough, it was Palardy. Does anyone think that the lack of self discipline was one of the reasons that he didn't reach his potential with the last coaching staff? Did CBJ push him to be bettter than he had the self-motivation to be? Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I think that CBJ and staff had such an influence on his game that it made him better than he thought he was.

I feel like this has been a recurring theme with team 118 during practice.

Lets give CBJ and Co at least one game before we start burning effigies.

Neal scored a TD for the Packers tonight against the Titans, had a couple solid runs as well. Not sure what his final stats were but he looked solid, might've put on more weight since entering the league too he looked bigger to me.

Edit: sorry, didn't see the post above, hope he stays on the Packers squad.

The VFL program is fine. It's the fans that have ruined it. They toss the term around to fit their need at the moment.

Jay Graham wasn't a VFL when he coached at S. Carolina, WAS a VFL when he came back to UT, and now he's not a VFL again for leaving to go FSU.

Reggie McKenzie was a VFL for having former Vols D. Moore and Rivera on the team. It was solidified when he gave an UDFA contract to Palardy. He reached Super VFL when his son signed with UT but the Raiders recently cut Palardy. What does that do for his VFL status.

Tee Martin...'nough said.
