On April 2, 2013, Outside the Lines reported that Rice is a terrible basketball coach and was berating, pushing, and using slurs directed at players during Rutgers practices.

The lurking question is, from which of the previous coaches he worked under did he learn behavior that resembles this is okay and/or leads to success?
One thing to act manifest such behavior around individuals one will never work with our see again; quite another to do it every day to the same people. I have to guess that he learned this behavior along the way.
