If you guys think he's the only coach that acts like this you live in fantasy land. I'm ok with all of this except the ball thrown to the head. I'd went full retard!!

Dude did you watch the freakin video? He went full retard during every clip they shown and even Murdock basically said it was uncalled for. Their is no place for him in college basketball period. For hin to berat players like that and verbally abuse them is just plain wrong and no AD with any sense should continue to let that coach rep the program lime that. He shoud be fired immediately and not even given the opportunity to do an interview to explain himself.

What a douche.

I'm always amazed to see that a group of people will put up with. Confusing that humans will put up with this because they think it is normal? Or they are ashamed to tell others? I have no idea.

Maybe I just have thick skin. Good thing these kids didn't join the military.

It's 2013.

Time to change those old, incorrect ways.

It's not in correct. Some kids respond different. Everyone of those men are bigger/taller stronger than that coach they could have easily ripped him a new one.

college athletes dont typically talk back to coaches. especially "rip him a new one."

plus, once he asserts this type of behavior and control, they are probably afraid to, doesnt matter how big they are.

Some kids need to be called a ********* and have basketballs thrown at their head.

Maybe if their parents had done that when they were small children they would be better basketball players

Ummm I disagree. If anyone throws a ball at my head with force you better believe I'd go nuts! I also like how the media likes to call them kids. As if they are in grade school. The are legal young adults that can serve our country. And today's D-1 athletes are huge! If these kids are afraid of an old man cussing and shoving them then maybe they are sissys.

My HS coach hated our best player and his national attention. He told him to get off the court one day at practice. Coach grabbed the ball and hummed it at him after he said something back to the coach. He was 6'6 and played for the Knicks. My teammate sees it coming, jukes his head to dodge it and the ball going about 50mph hits a skinny sophomore sqaure in the nose and everybody within 5 feet had blood shrapnel from the nose explosion.

They didn't join the military. They went to a place that supposedly exists to educate. His skills at instruction are archaic.

They went to a place to play ball!! Every kid wants to play in the NBA. The education is the bonus. lol

So you're saying its never happened?

I'm saying you sais this kind of stuff happens all the time, and you also are saying that college players would go after their coach, as you said you would.

I'm saying that's all pretty much wrong. You go after a coach for whatever reason, your career could be over. Thousands of players play football and basketball and you seldom if ever hear about a player going after a coach.

Again, his skills at educating them in basketball are pathetic. He is quite simply a terrible teacher.

Says who? Bob night was known for doing this. He seemed to do pretty well. Do you actually think the one time bob knight got caught was the only time he put his hands on a student? Give me a break.

I loathe grown men that have the communication skills of a 3 year old.

Trust me the media is making a big deal about this bc that's what the media does best. There are lots of people who don't think this is as bad as some think. I'm only pissed at the ball thrown at the head. The shoving, ball thrown at my feet, and name calling, lol don't bother me.
