no reason we should not have a massive upset this season now... butch has peyton helping his coaches... no excuses now. it might be hard to beat florida, but peyton should easily be able to help us game plan and beat bama and georgia.

Has anyone else heard that Peyton Manning is a d!ck to fans? I've never met him, but I heard that from a fan recently and it was upsetting to say the least. Hope this isn't true.

He's been doing the same drills since 1994 when he was a Freshman. Let that sink in. 1994 or 2012, it doesn't matter.

It's the attention to detail is what separates the greats. As a player, Manning has it. I hope Butch & staff have it as well.

He was excellent in my experience with him. I have never heard that.

The level of attention to detail that Peyton shows is just uncanny. We are fortunate to have a VFL like him.

He's usually pretty nice, but sometimes fans be annoying. Maybe that person just caught him at a bad time. It happens.

A lot of fans get offended when players do not sign autographs or shake hands. A lot of coaches instruct their players not to. Mannings right arm is worth almost 20 million a year, John Fox doesn't want his star getting himself injured by some crazy fan.

On a side note, a lot of baseball players actually learn to autograph with their off hand so they do not use their dominant hand to sign with. This is especially true with pitchers.

I have had 2 run ins with Peyton (One after the SECCG in '97 and the other in downtown Nooga) and he was as nice as I expected him to be.

Well, tell you something I read a few years ago that might help you out here. I read that when with Colts,Peyton and some buddies went to a bar and was just talking casually to fans. Three fans came up for autographs and one guy mentioned how he'd love Peyton to sign a jersey. Peyton told him Kmart had Colts jerseys and to go buy one and he would sign it. The guys did that, came back, and Peyton was waiting for them to return before he left.
