The truck driver working 60 hours a week trying to send his kid to school is paying for the billion dollar stadium of a billionaire.

I agree. Cities need to stop letting themselves be held hostage. Seattle seems to be doing just fine.

But in Minnesota's defense, I think I read that the owners are putting up a larger percent of the cost than ever (from the ownership for any new build in any other city).

Seattle got hosed, but Clay Bennett had no intentions of keeping the team in Seattle.

Funny, part of the stadium junk is the thought of hosting a Super Bowl, yet Indianapolis just reported they lost $1.3 million from hosting it this year.

New stadiums do not help the local economies. Taxpayers only get higher ticket prices, overprices specialty food, and a new stadium to go to, in this HD TV age.
